Johann Jacob HAID (Ulm 1704 - 1767) “S.Augustinus” (Saint Augustine Doctor of the Church) Original halftone engraving from a subject by Johann Baptist Enzensberger (1733-1773), published in Augsburg by the author and the son Elias after 1740. Beautiful copy printed with perfect inking rich in gray tones, on a portion of typical eighteenth-century laid paper bearing the "Corona" watermark, with good margins beyond the imprint of the plate, some folds, slight stains and gore of humidity at the edges but overall in good general condition.
